Beef King

Beef King 牛王. Its a direct translation and one of the few characters that I can read and write in Chinese:PIts the 2nd row of shops behind Caltex of Jalan Pudu. I've forgotten to take pics of the shops:P but will do so in my next trip there. Address:
Jalan Brunei off Jalan Pudu
Well in case you get lost:P
• coming from Berjaya Times Square, turn left into Jalan Pudu.
• continue straight with pudu prison on your right.
• continue straight and keep left.
• when you see a car showroom Sri Manis and Caltex, turn left.
• look for parking.
• its opposite a frame shop hidden behind a big tree with a curry laksa and chicken rice stall.

This little rather hidden place in Pudu serves superb beef noodles. The soup is beefy and has salted vegie in it. In a way it also has some slight herbal after taste. Sound like a strange combination right? But that's really how it is.Tasted both dry and soupy. Verdict - its equally good. The noodles are the wantan mee ones. No funny texture to it. And with a rather rich sauce which I have not seen or tasted anywhere else. Yes a generous serving of mince meat too. The chilli sauce is quite yummy and goes really well with meatballs and the dry noodles itself of you like spicy. Its uniquely spicy and sour:D
The beef balls here are rather hearty. Not the flour laden ones. And its really rich and flavourful too.
I am not one to spend time taking pics and let the meat overcook. So after my satisfying meal, I proceeded to take pics of what you can expect in your noodles.
