Bernard Tomic is coming to town!

If you're a tennis fan, you'll be counting down to the 2011 Malaysian Open which happens on 24th September - 2nd October 2011. And if you're clueless...the Malaysian Open, Kuala Lumpur 2011 is an ATP 250 level event making it one of only five ATP World Tour Tournaments in Asia.

18 year old Bernard Tomic has confirmed that he will be participating in the 2011 Malaysian Open. This extremely talented player is climbing the ranks real fast. Goran Ivanisevic, the 2001 Wimbledon champion and former World No. 2, has said that it is only a matter of time before Tomic breaks into the Top 10. And looking at his progress and style, I am quite certain of that too!

So folks, grab your tickets if you have not gotten yours. The list of players will be updated as and when they confirm their participation. Ticket system is unique this year.



This year will feature:

• unreserved free seating on all days of the tournament,

• only one session per day on all days, and only one ticket price (all tickets are now classed as “Gold”) per day (with the exception of further discounted student tickets and a season pass, and a very limited number of reserved seats on the weekend).

Ticket pricing:

• RM 10 for Monday and Tuesday

• RM 15 for Wednesday and Thursday

• RM 20 for Friday

• RM 50 for Saturday and Sunday.

For fans who prefer to purchase a reserved seat on the finals weekend, a small number of seats have been set-aside on one side of the stadium to accommodate such patrons. On court box seats with hospitality provided by the Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur, can be purchased on a per seat per day basis from Friday to Sunday. Tickets are now on sale via the tournament website or direct from TicketPro.

And now...another 75 days before the 2011 Malaysian Open.

PS: I don't play tennis but it is one of the games that I really enjoy watching. And it all started from the days of been daddy's ball girl every evening when I was a child. The pride of seeing daddy return with trophies after his tennis tournaments. I am so proud of my daddy!
